The Journal of Advanced Prosthodontics was published since 31 March 2009. 6 times (the last day of February, April, June, August, October, and December) annually as the main journal of Korean Academy of Prosthodontics. The abbreviated title is "J Adv Prosthodont". In the journal, articles concerning implants and esthetic restorations of teeth, dental education, research, clinical experiments were discussed by Korean practitioners and scientists.

Aim and Scope

This journal aims to convey scientific and clinical progress in the field of prosthodontics and its related areas to many dental communities concerned with esthetic and functional restorations, occlusion, implants, prostheses, and biomaterials related to prosthodontics.

This journal publishes

Original research data of high scientific merit in the field of diagnosis, function, esthetics and stomatognathic physiology related to prosthodontic rehabilitation, physiology and mechanics of occlusion, mechanical and biologic aspects of prosthodontic materials including dental implants.
Review articles by experts on controversies and new developments in prosthodontics.
Case reports if they provide or document new fundamental knowledge.

The Journal of Korean Academy of Prosthodontics is the official publication of the Korean Academy of Prosthodontics (KAP) founded on September 16, 1959. Abbreviated title is ‘J Korean Acad Prosthodont’. It is the leading professional journal in Korea, devoted to prosthetic, restorative and implant dentistry. This journal provides many Korean clinicians, teachers and researchers with scientific progress on patient care, education and research in prosthodontics and interrelated disciplines. The journal continues to publish the English version of clinically, or scientifically well-organized articles. The journal is published 4 times (the last day of January, April, July, and October).
